General Information

 

Each year the Alden Bridge Village Association awards scholarships to outstanding local high school students planning to pursue higher education. This scholarship is intended to recognize and encourage a spirit of community involvement and good citizenship among high school students residing in the Village of Alden Bridge, The Woodlands, Texas.

 

Scholarships are open to all high school students who are residents of Alden Bridge at the time of application, regardless of the high school attended.  Applicants must be graduating seniors in good standing at their school at the time of application who are planning to attend either a 2 or 4 year college.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA: Scholarships will be awarded based on your application with emphasis on the following criteria:

 

1. Financial need

2. Academic Performance

3. Extracurricular activities

4. Citizenship & community involvement

 

Applications will be reviewed by the ABVA Board Scholarship Committee and the ABVA Board of Directors. Only complete applications will be considered.
