Application

Each year the Alden Bridge Village Association awards scholarships to outstanding local students planning to pursue higher education. This scholarship is intended to recognize and encourage a spirit of community involvement and good citizenship among students residing in the Village of Alden Bridge, The Woodlands, Texas.

                            

Scholarships are open to all students who are residents of Alden Bridge at the time of application, regardless of the school attended.  Applicants must be in good standing at their current school at the time of application who are planning to attend either a 2 or 4 year college or trade school beginning Summer or Fall 2025.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA: Scholarships will be awarded based on your application with emphasis on the following criteria (listed in no particular order):

 

Financial need

Academic Performance

Extracurricular activities

Citizenship & community involvement

 

Completed applications must be received by MIDNIGHT, Friday, March 14, 2025.  Recipients of the scholarship will be notified no later than April 11, 2024.  Recipients will be presented with an award certificate at the ABVA Board of Directors meeting on May 13, 2025 at 6 pm.  Actual scholarship award money will be credited directly to the student’s account at the college or university once accepted and enrolled.
