(L to R) Daniela Chapparro, Sri Raghavan, & Tiffany Pullin) The Alden Bridge Village Association based on numerous student applications and essays has awarded three $1000 scholarships to:
Tiffany Pullin
Tiffany is a National Merit Scholar and an AP Scholar, ranked 88 out of 916 at The Woodlands High School. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and study Business Marketing, aspiring to eventually attend law school. Tiffany was an active Marching Band member for 3 years, until family circumstances prompted her to resign from the Marching Band and work 2 part-time jobs while attending school her senior year. As a member of Key Club, she volunteers with the Bush Elementary 2nd grade classes and local 5k events. She also serves in the Hunger & Homeless ministry of her church and attended a mission trip to Mexico .
Daniela Chapparro
An Honor Roll student for 4 years at College Park High School, ranked 122 out of 609, moved to The Woodlands 3 years ago, and credits our community atmosphere with fostering her desire to help others. She has participated in Senior Olympics, serve our Seniors Clean Up Day and the Montgomery County Teen Book Fair. She also volunteers regularly with the Food Pantry at St. Anthony of Padua , all the while working 2 part-time jobs and playing Varsity Field Hockey. She plans to pursue a Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering, and has been accepted to University of Tulsa, Texas A&M University, The University of Oklahoma, Colorado School of Mines, Penn State University and The University of Texas.
Srikrishna (Sri) Raghavan
Sri is a student at the Academy of Science & Technology, where he has excelled in numerous science competitions and is ranked 2nd in his class. A member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, Sri also volunteers with the LEO Club playing bingo with the residents of Harvestwood Apartments and tutors math twice a week at Knox Junior High. He plans to study biomedical engineering, and has applied to MIT, CalTech, Carnegie-Mello, Princeton, Cornell, Drexel and The University of Texas at Austin.

If you want to be a part of the great things happening in Alden Bridge, or would like to join the Association's efforts in making things even better, volunteer! There are many opportunities to participate in community events, and special projects.
